Mother Teresa School is an English medium school established and managed by the Sindhudurg Diocesan Educational Trust. It is recognized by the government of Maharashtra.

Mother Teresa School is a Christian minority school which aims at giving all-round education: academic, physical, moral and spiritual, primarily to Catholics, for whose education the institution has been established and also to other children, irrespective of religion or race, in so far as it is in keeping with Catholic principles.

The school is named after Mother Teresa. Being the patron of the school, Mother Teresa is model for living for its staff and students, for, she was a person who had a deep faith in God and a great love of people, specially for the downtrodden.
